The As You See It challenge was to use these retiring colours in some way and I chose to use them for this card. Using a – The Cats Pajamas, thanks Gayle for telling us about these – free digi stamp and sentiment. I sized them as you see using my graphics program and then printed them onto cs. Although I used Distress Oxides to colour them these colours are a close match to the ones shown on the blog. I added some bling mounted it onto the red foil and then onto the soft suede card front. There is a bit of sparkle for the hearts and the cats eyes but it doesn’t show in the photo.

I’m going to say thank you here for all the wonderful comments you have made today on my recent uploads. It is easier to do it once; in one place. I’m happy you like my cards and I really appreciate the thoughtfulness you put into your comments. You are great for my ego. It has been fun doing some different styles and making it work the way I want it to. Practice definitely makes things easier and get results more consistent.

Love this card and that you used the free digi. I don’t know how to resize and move any digitals so I usually end up printing as is and adding to a card. Love the kitty in the hot air balloon with the sentiment.

Am happy you like this. In retrospect I should have added some clouds, but I’ll do that another time. I can teach you how to resize if you are interested? It can be done in Word although that isn’t my go to program.
