Leafy frame with florals

Yesterday when I was making a different card, the idea for this one came into my head. As the challenge at Seize the Birthday #305-Flowers is about flowers I decided to make it my second addition to the challenge.

The frame die is from MFT and the background stamp is one I’ve had forever but I have no idea who produced it. Once I had cut the frame from a scrap piece of silver card I backed it with some foam tape. Then I stamped the background piece, heat embossed clear and coloured with watercolour pencils. After carefully adding the frame to the image piece I then added it to the white card front. For now I’ve not added a sentiment as I’m uncertain as to how I shall use it. And I decided not to add any additional embellishments because it is a fairly busy card.

Happy Mothers Day to everyone whether you be a mom to human children or to fur babies. Thanks for joining me today, your time and comments are always appreciated.

  1. Very pretty. I really like that leafy frame. It works perfectly with the background stamp. I don’t think it needs a sentiment, just a note inside.

  2. There is nothing better than when you are creating and you get an idea for another card, I love when that happens. That leafy frame will be getting a lot of attention I am sure and you might want to keep it out for a possible challenge coming up soon. Hint hint. 😜 Thanks for sharing this pretty card with us at Seize the Birthday.
