musical notes birdie

Musical Challenge is the current challenge at Double D and because I already had this piece of napkin music attached to CS I decided to use it. I used a die from YNS to cut the top and the bottom and then added it to the leftover PP.

After searching through my stamp sets, I pulled out an old GKD set and used the bird (fussy cut after colouring) and the branch, stamped and heat set. From another GKD set I found the sentiment, stamped and die cut this with an infinity oval from HeroArts. A few small gems and a pen around the edges finished this nicely. I attached it to a shimmery note card and called it finished.

  1. Lovely eye catching card with the dotted border and background musical notes for the bird on the branch. I am partial to birds so this is special. We thoroughly enjoy watching our bluejays, robins and cardinals bath in our elevated bird bath. The black capped chickadees come as well for drinks. Have a bowl of fresh water on the ground for the squirrels and raccoons who visit. Bird feeder is nearby. Enjoy all your cards and the work and thought that is put into each and every one.

    1. Thanks Brenda, I enjoy the birds that come here as well and we have photos of a barred Owl that landed in a tree above Derek’s head.
