This past week I’ve made 3 items ready to post but didn’t have the opportunity to actually post them. Basically this one was just using up the foiled butterflies which I took off another card. I think they came from StampinUp but I’m not sure.

Thanks to Golda, I have some lovely PP that she sent as a small gift and this background is cut from that. I added the butterflies by popping them up in several places. Added the sentiment and also the bow. I pushed the ends of the ribbon in and out of the butterflies gluing it in place here and there. A very simple card but I think it is an effective one.
Pretty card! Yes, SU does have a butterfly die that looks like that one and there are knock-offs out there also. Whatever the vendor, it is still a pretty card.

So glad to see these, I was wondering what you were crafting.

Haven’t been doing much. When we got back from boating I ended up with a bout of stomach issues – bad enough to keep me in bed for 30 hours. It has improved a lot so now I’m back in my craft room, although we are going boating again soon so for how long I’ll be here isn’t certain. Glad you like my effort.

Beautiful butterflies. The background really compliments your dies.

I love that paper and I’m funny but sometimes when I really like something I have a hard time cutting and using it. Thanks Gayle.

Very pretty. Love the idea of pushing the ribbon ends through the butterflies.

Initially I didn’t know what to do with the ends of the ribbon and they looked funny left loose on top. It was a small brainwave that had me placing them this way. Glad you like it.
