Found a new challenge at AAAcards blogspot earlier today and decided to give it a go.
Using a new die from Memory Box called snowflake Marquee I cut the shape in the middle of the card front. I also cut the same thing from a piece of scrap mirror card. I pieced the snowflake spikes back into the card front securing them on the back with a bit of tape. I then took a scrap piece of glitter cs the same pink as the mirror card and added it at the back so that it shows through the small holes. Added a sentiment from a GKD set called Deck the halls to the middle of the snowflake. Its a very simple card, didn’t take much time to create and I like the result.

I got the die in a sale recently and like it a lot. I just completed another one – this time landscape on Teal with white inlay and it looks good too. Thanks for all the lovely comments you just did for me. I replied to some but not to all and I sure appreciate that you take a look and say something. I’m trying to do more CAS style cards although compared to what I see others do, mine have a long way to go.

Johanna, it is beautiful! I love that you used mirror card and glitter card in the same color for different looks, but still the same color. That is a great idea.

Thanks for commenting on all my cards Gerry. I’m glad you like them including the elephant one. I have always liked elephants myself, but we are all so different that our tastes etc are different too. I did another take on this card but haven’t posted it yet.
