Using a scrap piece of heat embossed roses I die cut it with an unbranded scalloped rectangle set. This piece was originally stamped with a large GKD background stamp. With left over strips from various past projects I added them to the card front and over them I added the small panel. Decided to also use the left over frame from the die cut piece on top but at an angle. Added tiny bow at the corner and a stamped heat embossed sentiment from a SSS set. Based on what is happening currently, I know I shall be needed a sympathy card before summer so I thought I would get one ready in advance.
Love this!

Thanks Gayle – I didn’t really plan this card, but let it evolve as I went along.

Thanks a lot for the kind comment. I almost threw away the outer frame before realizing I could use it with the other piece.

Thanks Lisa. I’m glad I don’t throw much away as I have had the background piece since last year. Still have 2 small pieces left to play with.
