In my previous post I mentioned I had another card almost ready and this is it. It works for both the new Double D challenge as well as a 2nd entry for the Paper Players. Using a small poinsettia stamp from a Hero Arts Christmas set I stamped randomly onto a piece of black CS using white ink. I then heat embossed this using white powder. After adding the black piece to a white layer I wrapped the silver washi tape around and then glued the layers to the silver card front. On a scrap piece of white CS using VersaMark I stamped the larger poinsettia image, from an older GKD set, and heat embossed in silver. Once done I fussy cut it and added foam tape to the back. Using a silver pen I coloured in the center stamens and with a Sakura gelly roll glitter pen added few streaks of glitter over the rest. It shines like crazy in reality but the photo doesn’t allow that to show up. I popped this piece up on top of the silver tape and then realized I had forgotten to do a sentiment. Initially I stamped one onto some white CS but didn’t like it when I tried placement so in the end I decided to use two small stamps from a LawnFawn set, stamped with VersaMark and then heat embossed in silver. I liked this much better. Unless I need some additional cards for this Christmas, I now have 2 already completed for 2021. My hubby thinks I should do a variation on this card in different colours for next year, Hmmm, food for thought.
Another beauty my friend. I love this. I’m sure it is very sparkly IRL. Your hubby had a great idea.
