Time Heals

PP522 – A Theme Challenge from LeAnne

I have some new stamp sets from Joy Clair and decided to use the clock along with some scraps to make a get well card for a member of my hubby’s photo group. He has been ill with Covid and was hospitalized for several weeks, but we heard he is on the mend thankfully. After stamping and heat embossing the image I fussy cut it. The gold frame and striped paper were on my desk and had become stuck together so I decided they would be okay as the background for the clock. Then I stamped the sentiment from the same set and added a few gems. I quite like the result and hope others do too. Thanks for spending some time with me.

    1. Thanks Lisa. I think Lisa K has it right, I probably subconsciously placed them this way as I sometimes play with something and then leave it.

  1. Perfect card for the recovery person. I like your patterned paper and how you positioned it. Maybe subconsciously you laid it in a pleasing way when you walked away.

  3. Thanks Gayle – I finally received all the orders that were sitting in Blaine most of last year. Fortunately I have been using this outlet for a long time and the owner is really nice. When I contacted her she organized sending me everything via regular mail and because she has a Canadian bank account I could use e-transfer to pay her. I think these 4 orders are the most expensive ever! Anyway all that to say that I am enjoying my new Joy Clair stamps.

  4. How fun that an oops (subconscious, or not) was absolutely a winner for this card! You know how to put things together and have them look great!
I’m so glad you’ve been able to finally get your long awaited orders, too. As much as you wound up spending on them, I’m sure you will use them a LOT.
