Inkspirational has hearts as its challenge theme this week and I had some scraps on my desk that I wanted to use so ended up with this card. All the circles and tiny hearts are left over from other projects but the piglet image is from Divinity Designs and the word Love is from MFT. The image was coloured with a combination of Copics and pencils and was die cut twice to make it slightly dimensional before adding to the card front. The sentiment was cut from scrap CS and PP. My original idea was to use the PP which had hearts stamped all over it, but it didn’t look right so I cut the solid red piece and glued the two together slightly offset. I much preferred the end result doing it this way. I added the red pearls and called it finished.
Johanna, this is a sweet card! I’m glad you’re able to play along.

Thanks Golda. I have to get my desk cleaned up for house showing so I’m trying to use up all the bits that were on top.

Hopefully you’re having fun with the cleaning up and that the house sells quickly to just the right people at just the right time. Praying for that.

Super cute image and card. I love the design with your circles and the card base color.

I felt it needed a plain card front but white was too stark so I went with the kraft. Glad you like it.

Cute card. The hearts are perfectly placed so that you can tell the boy pig is looking at the girl pig with real love.

These Divinity Design stamps are all cute and I got them last year. They work for many different styles not just Valentine.
