With Gratitude

Challenge #18 – Stripes and/or Dots

I keep looking at this card thinking it needs more, but it is a CAS card and if I add anything I’m sure to spoil it. As well it’s supposed to be one third or less so adding to it would negate that requirement. The zebra rubber stamp is ancient and is from Stamp Francisco. The sentiment was a gift in a purchased set from Kitchen Sink stamps. I don’t think I could get more CAS than this.

  1. I like it. These CAS challenges are difficult for me, too, as I always want to add more. I think your card is great for the challenge. I like the striped ribbon in color to feature the zebra. Definitely CAS.

    1. Thanks Gayle. I realized this morning that I didn’t add the right side of the circle as I had some clouds and some grass behind the zebra. Too late now, but I shall probably fix it before using it for someone.

  2. I really like how your card is black and white, perfect coloring for a zebra. However, the pops of color with the multi-colored strip is somewhat unexpected but makes the entire card “pop”. Thanks for joining us at Perfectly CAS.

  3. I totally understand the desire to ‘add more’ when creating a CAS card, but you have totally aced it here with precisely with your design here! The colourful tripe, the zebra, the circle, the sentiment: clean, simple and wonderful! Thank you for joining us at Perfect CAS!
