Just Us Girls Challenge #664 – CAS Card Week

A while back I played around with some alcohol inks and made a couple of background pieces. I decided to die cut one of the pieces into a couple of different size circles and then I die cut a heart from the largest circle. Dies used are from Hero Arts Infinity sets and I used the smallest heart to add inside the negative space. I laid out the pieces until I was happy with the arrangement and then glued them down. Using a Joy Clair sentiment, I curved it slightly on the block and then stamped it. A few Trinity Stamp embellishments that pick up the ink colours beautifully and another CAS card is complete. I thought it a good idea to have a 2nd entry into the JUGs challenge this week

Have a great Monday everyone and thanks for taking a look.

  1. Pretty card. The placement of your die cut pieces and the background you created are wonderful The curved sentiment was a perfect companion for the bubbles.

    1. I just had a thought that the small amount of this background I have left may work for an ocean style card. I’ll have to try it soon. Glad you like it. I like the simplicity of it and I do believe I am getting so much better at CAS styles.

    1. Glad you like it and go ahead and try. The results are different each time and my hubby is fascinated with how they look when finished. They work great in resin too.

    1. I was always scared to play with alcohol inks until recently, now I’m hooked and have used them on several things and in different ways.
