Instead of splitting my card using paper I chose to do it with a die that works best on the diagonal. I then backed it with some glitter CS behind so that it twinkles through the openings. Using the same CS I die cut a small star using Hero Arts Infinity dies using foam tape to attach it. The sentiment is from a Joy Clair set and I heat embossed it in silver. I chose this particular sentiment as it gives me choices in how to use the card.
I’m happy with the end result and hope you like it too. Thanks for stopping by, you are appreciated in many ways.

Great CAS card. Love the crescent moons design of that die.

Thanks Gayle. the die is an unbranded one and I quite like it now I’ve figured out how to use it to the best advantage.

Thanks. I wanted something a bit different so this die was a good choice.

A very creative way to split your panel for the sketch! Love the contrast with the dark and glitter card stocks, too.
