Mail drop

Prior to our little two day trip to the mainland I had begun making this card. Running out of time I left it sitting on my desk until I would have time to complete it. It fits two challenges and will be entered into both. Links to them will be at the end of the post.

I started by using a frame die from Paper Roses in blue textured CS, and I stamped a heart all over the frame in Wilted Violet using a stamp from a Kitchen Sink set that I’ve had forever. I also stamped the envelopes from the same set as well. My sentiment is from a Joy Clair set. I coloured the envelopes using some metallic pencils and added a tiny heart from a Lawn Fawn set and I added Sakura pen glaze to the centers. Using foam tape I attached the frame to the card front and then added the envelopes so they cascade down. A little hand cut sentiment and some enamel hearts and the card was complete.

The challenges I am entering into are:

  1. The repetition of the heart elements across your design creates a lovely look. Thanks for playing along with our colour challenge at Just Add Ink.
