I had almost forgotten about the challenge at https://seizethebirthday.blogspot.com/ and it is all about rainbow colours. So this morning I decided I had better get to it and this is what I came up with.
As so often, initially, I was thinking something else, but realized that I may not have enough time to do it because life is extra busy just now. Late last year, I had created some backgrounds using the leftover strips of coloured card stock so I pulled one out and using a die from Scrapbook.com I cut three of the banner strips.
Playing around with placement a little, I decided on this layout and glued them down. In searching for a sentiment I found the circle die and wondered what would happen if I die cut it and then used the words alone. Taking another small background piece I cut it and then cut it in half. I did think about cutting each letter but after moving it around quite a lot, I liked the idea of keeping the curves so I added the words as you see.
To ensure I had enough of the rainbow colours I added a few gems from my stash and then called it finished.
It’s a bright cheerful card and my hubby really likes it. It turned out a lot better than I imagined it would when I began. Thanks for stopping by, your time and comments are appreciated.

So bright and cheerful, I love it. I really like how you did the words.

I agree on bright and cheerful. I like that you kept the letters attached to the circle, turning them unto arcs.
