It was hard to resist this particular challenge at Color Hues Color Challenge #133 – Lime Green and Violet, because purple is my favourite colour. As well, in a DT job I do, it was my turn to pick the challenge and I had chosen circles. I guess I still had them on my brain – LOL.
I’m sure that a card I had seen on Pinterest with an inchworm was an actual die but I figured I didn’t need a die and finding scraps, built my own using die cut circles from a set by Hero Arts. The oval die cuts are from Craft Addiction and the background layers are done with an unbranded set. The paper was from my stash and seemed as if it had been waiting for this specific post.
The sentiment was created on my computer and I added some bling underneath it.
We did a Costco run earlier and my hubby took me out for lunch. Then we walked the dog on the way home so we were both pretty tired on return. Hubby went for a nap, and I decided to make a card. For me this is as good as a nap any day. I guess we’ll be vegging with the TV later as I know my hubby is still a bit fatigued.
Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate you and your time. Have a great weekend everyone.

Adorble inch worm and love the edges for the rectangle die cuts.

Thanks. I had been keeping it because the design wasn’t something I liked. It worked perfectly here though.

Thumbs up for such a super original card!! Great colour combo of purple and green. I especially like the border and that you did a diagonal rectangle for the adorable inchworm and sentiment. Pretty cool card. We also enjoy our Costco runs for our grapefruits, oranges, veggies, meat, earth, plants and shrubs, clothing, etc., etc., Even two duvet sets, and paint brushes. Always interesting buys apart from what is on our grocery list.

Thanks. I only buy what we need but D is sucker for impulse buying. I’d go alone but can’t manage it alone these days.

My deepest apologies, Johanna! I was jumping from blog to blog and my hands typed one thing and I my mind said something else. I clearly know who you are! Sigh!

Sorry, I’m laughing as I totally realized this. I comment as DT on 2 sites and sometimes I mix them up.
