Thanks Friend

Had a few minutes to spare so made this card quickly even though I had to fussy cut everything out except for the wreath which was die cut.

Challenge #348 – Colors

Started with the die cut wreath done with a pear coloured vellum. I then stamped all the flowers and leaves from a Lisa Hetrick set in Oxide inks and once cut out placed them where I wanted them. Added the sentiment which is a combination of two different stamps sets. Cut out the little bird and popped him on top.

    1. Always a small challenge to get the colours I have to match as closely as possible to the challenge colours. When it works its a happy day. Thanks!

    1. So glad you like the card. I have to say the decoration on the bird was done to hide the glue marks and I used a pen and followed the lines of the glue underneath.

  1. Can’t take credit for the design as I saw something on Simon Says that is similar to this and that is how it came about. These challenge colours are quite nice together and fortunately I was able to get close matches.

  2. I agree, it was nice to do while I was waiting for the card crafting group to arrive. thanks for commenting. Group card making went really well and they each went home with 2 cards.

  3. You are right it was a lot of cutting. If my hands are okay I can do it quite well, but sometimes it is impossible. Glad you like it.
