I had this small die cut backed with the glitter cs on my desk for a while as I didn’t have any ideas of how to use it. I also had a few snowflake cut outs left. After creating my recent ornament card I had the bright idea to use all these bits for another similar one. This is the result…

I glittered the snowflake pieces and then adhered them around the gold die cut. Added a hole for the cord and a small gold bow at the top and then added it to card front the same as the last one. It is quite effective and I like how it turned out.
The embossing and sentiment art the cherry on top of this delightful mixing of ideas and pieces.

Your ornament with the snowflake is really awesome. The ornament looks very dimensional. The strip of shiny designer paper captures my eye as it is set off with the dry embossed lines .

It is actually washi tape and I like this brand (from Michaels) as it sticks beautifully. Don’t know about you but I find some washi tapes end up lifting.

Until I figured out to make that piece into an ornament I honestly had no idea of how to use it. Funny how one idea can lead to another.

It is because there are several layers to it and I added a bit more to make it stand out. I also made sure the back is covered so that if it moves on a tree it still looks pretty.

Oh, this is really neat! I love the colors, the fun look to it, and that you used leftover pieces. Cleanup made pretty and shareable.

Thanks. I’m making a few cards to put into a box as a hostess gift and this is one of them. Definitely a good way to use up scraps.
