Saw a new stamp set with a stamp looking something like this card and also one of my stamping buddies made a card along the same idea.

Fun with BALLOONS …

This is my third attempt at an entry for the Perfectly CAS challenge as I somehow managed to ruin 2 other tries. As it also has balloons I decided to enter the DoubleD challenge with a 2nd card.
Stamped the greeting, from GKD Grand Greetings, first and then drew a line above it before masking it off. The I took the balloon stamp and stamped it along the line after which I coloured with Prisma pencils and gamsol. Stamp is from a SSS as is the little star image I also used.
So glad you did not weaken and kept going to create this lovely.

I’m glad you like it as I kind of took your idea as well as the stamp set I saw. Would love the stamp set but have spent too much money this month so it has to wait.

I like the set you used. I wouldn’t get the one I have for balloons. I would stick with the one you have and not worry about spending any money. I’m glad you liked my idea.

The one I’m thinking about is something Jen McGuire mentioned in her post. I like a few on that set and it is a collaboration from several in the industry. I’ve set it on my wish list for now.

Another awesome balloon card with your “happy” line of balloons and stars. Love that we get inspired by each others work.

Yes it is cool that we get ideas from each other and yet come up with something uniquely ours.

I’m glad you like it – I was swearing up a storm yesterday when I couldn’t get it right. Fortunately I was able to rescue some of the cs to use elsewhere.

This is a sweet one. I like how the balloons aren’t all perfectly even, as those tilted ones give it a bit more character. The stars are a nice touch, too.
