This is for the challenge at Little Red Wagon. First time I am trying one of their challenges. Got to hurry as it is almost ending. I had the two frames left over from another project and as I like putting frames together decided to do it again. This is actually a CASE from a card seen on Pinterest. I heat embossed the center leaves and then placed the frame around them. It is a little higher than I wanted but my measuring was obviously off. Stamped the flower onto the same gold as one of the frames and fussy cut it. It was a sketchy image from GKD Year of flowers set so I didn’t have to be too careful about cutting. I was curious to see if I could get colour onto it so used some gelly roll pens and liked the result. Added some bling to the center of the flower using some dots from a sticker set. Added the sentiment from the same stamp set.
Wow! Love the frames!

The flower is beautiful and really shiny. The frames really set it off.

When I stamped onto the gold I really wasn’t sure if it would dry or smear and I had no idea if it would take colour. Obviously it does and I really like how it looks. Better in R.L. than on a photo actually. And I’ve had some fun with frames recently and like the way they change a card and yet keep it simple too.

Yes I’ve had lot of fun playing with frames recently. I like that they look complicated in one way and yet the card remains CAS in another. The flower worked way better than I expected and I really like it myself.

Thanks Gayle. I got hooked on doing these recently. Now if I have a frame left from a project I save them and use later. The flower worked really well and I used amalgam ink for stamping. It dried and doesn’t come off.

What a great layout; I love how you positioned the two frames! Cool how you were able to add color to the gold flower; it looks great.

Oh yes those frames do the heavy lifting here. But sure fun to see how many ways you can rearrange them.
