Trying to get as close to the colour choices as possible I made a watercolour background, splattered it and left it to dry overnight. Using a small red rubber GKD stamp (one of my first purchases) I stamped the image and sentiment, matting them as shown. I also added a tiny amount of pink to the petals of the flowers. An uncomplicated card that ended up being something I like myself. Always a bonus when I like my own stuff – lol.
Beautiful – love the colors!

I love your water colored background! Your mats coordinate perfectly and tie together your stamped image and greeting so nicely. Great card design.

Thank you so much. Probably one of the easiest cards I’ve made recently.

Glad you like it Gayle. I had fun with this and have some more of the watercolored paper to use in other ways.

It’s always fantastic when you like your own stuff! This is beautiful. I am loving seeing your watercolor backgrounds. The layers are perfect for this and the fact that your sentiment is on white makes it stand out in a nice contrast, too. It really is beautiful.
