The current challenge at As You See It – Challenge #378 – Summer Days and this card what I came up with.
I used a wave embossing folder from StampinUP and went over it with BluePrint Sketch ink. Then I took the MFT die for the specs and cut it twice for a little strength when put together. It also allowed me to insert the lenses more easily. I used an Alphabet die from Scrapbook.com and cut the letters to make a word. Using a Hero Arts infinity die I cut the circle added some ink around the edge and played with placement before stamping the sentiments. The top one is from a set I’ve had forever but the brand is unknown and the compass image is from the same set. The sunshine is a partial stamp from another unbranded set and the second sentiment is from a YNS set I think. It could be from Kokorosa but I’m not sure. I’ve temporarily misplaced it and need to do a search so I can return the stamp to the set. All were heat embossed. After putting some foam tape to the back of the Specs I attached it as you see and inserted the lenses. Then I added the beginning and end letters to complete the word.
The card is mostly CAS and I quite like how it turned out. Many thanks for stopping by, I do appreciate you and your time.

Clever idea, Johanna! I like the summer images in the glasses and that they stand for the oo in cool. Your wavy background is the right choice and adding the colour makes it really stand out. Thanks for sharing it with us at As You See It.
