Fall Birthday Wishes

As I’m the Sunshine person for my Dragon Boat team, I make cards for everyone and then send them when birthdays come round. My stash for this was running low, so I’ve used some of the challenge posts to add to the box. This card is intended for that purpose.

I did however, make it with the challenge at The Card Concept in mind: The Card Concept #230 {Fall Harvest}. Obviously, part of my inspiration came from the wagon in the mood board, but I also liked the colours so have tried to incorporate them as well.

My leaf background is actually part of a napkin that I rather liked. And, as I had a piece of the wood grain CS from another project I decided it would work nicely with the leaves. The sprig placed inside the wagon was a leftover from a StampinUP set and I cut it apart so it would fit nicely.

Products used are mainly from Gummiapan, but the little chick is from an unbranded set and the heart is from Hero Arts with the sentiment from GKD. I always have trouble defining what this style of card would be, but it is layered, and is a fairly clean design so I’m going for clean and layered. When adding the napkin to some card stock I must have pressed a bit too hard as I discovered a small hole. The little heart solved that issue nicely.

When I began to think about a card for this challenge, I really had no idea what to do, so I’m happy I finally figured something that I liked and that worked. Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate you, your time and any comments you may leave.
