CAS Colours and Sketches has a new challenge and although I thought I was done with making Christmas cards I realized that I could make a few as a gift set for a friend so this is part of what I did.
I started with the corrugated card front in one of the stated colours or as close to it as I can get. I then took a cherry red cs and tore the edges over which I adhered the stamped music piece. Stamp is a very old wooden block and I have no idea of the brand. Using some foam metallic gold glitter I die cut the snowflake and adhered to the front. Die is from Gina K. I quite like how it turned out.

It is going into a series to give to someone. I thought I was done with Xmas cards but the challenges are calling for more so this way I get to make a few more but for someone else to use.

Got the idea for this from Pinterest and so I did something similar to what I saw only in different colours and changed card size and position of the torn pieces. Thanks.

I still have some very old glitter foam that used to have a sticky back. Its so old it no longer sticks but is still usable. Must remember to use it up one of these days. I forgot I had it. Glad you like the result.

Thanks for the lovely comment. I forgot I had that piece but was looking for the right green when it popped out of the pile of green scraps I have. It was big enough to use as the card base – serendipity I think.
