This is my very last piece of water coloured card created a while ago. I cut out a frame and the leaf using a Stitched frame by PaperRose and a SSS set that came with stamps. I had used some splatter on top of this piece but felt it needed a bit more on the leaf so I added a few tiny gems here and there. The sentiment is from another set which I’ve temporarily misplaced in my craft room and cannot remember which it comes from. Probably GKD as I have most of my sets from this company. I love the softness of this water colouring and I added the whole thing to a white card front.
Beautiful card!

Thanks Judy – the day I did the water colouring I had a lot of fun with making the backgrounds. Have to do some more now as this was the last of the ones I made.

I really like the stamp set that the leaf comes from and am really glad I got the dies to go with the set. Glad you like this.

Gorgeous! Love the soft colors for your frame and the splatter. The simple sentiment and gems tie everything together beautifully.

I have to do a few more backgrounds as this was truly my last piece from the few I did recently. I too like the sentiment because it doesn’t detract from the openness of the rest.

Love this! The soft colors look great with the open, airy design. (Can you use airy to describe a card??)

I think airy works as a description – thanks. After seeing your gelli plate cards I am now wanting to try some for myself so that will likely be the next thing I fool around with when I want to get messy.

Thanks Gerry – it is fun to get a CAS card from nothing except some water coloured card stock.

Thanks Golda. Now I’ve used it all, I shall have to get busy and make some more. But the sun is out today so may not be in my craft room that much. Supposed to change again on the weekend so perhaps I can play a bit more then.
